A LABEL OF QUALITY

Since more than half a century, the IFV and INRA have been leaders in Clonal Selection and Varietal Creation backed by its unique know-how represented by over 380 varieties listed, 1200 approved clones (wine grape variety clones, table grapes, root stock) along with a new range of resistant to downy mildew and oidium (ResDur vine varieties). This constitutes a real expectation for the vitiviniculture sector.

Created in 1995 by the IFV and INRA, the ENTAV-INRA®  trademark represents a substantial Vine Selection in health and agronomy terms in view of spreading Made in France quality and authenticity throughout the world. The objective is to provide every grape vine plant nursery professional with a guarantee based on traceability and the exclusive dissemination by brand licensees.

Today, ENTAV International, a subsidiary of IFV and INRA created in 1999, which is in charge of developing the ENTAV-INRA® trademark in France, in Europe and on the other continents (North and South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania).

The ENTAV-INRA® trademark pursues its objective to combine scientific expertise and a label of quality by offering unique diversity, by disseminating healthy and virus-free plant material, based on a network of 36 partners spread out over all the French viticulture areas, thus ensuring the conservation of a unique genetic heritage. This is at the core of the IFV National Plant Material Pole located in the Grau du Roi in Southern France.

Our team include researchers, agronomist, ampelographers and geneticits who follow a rigourous scientific approach to maintain their leadership in terms of innovation while constantly improving the quality of their product offer!
